The difference between high-capacity and low capacity FPC assembly
1. Quantity
Their names intuitively reflect that they are distinguished by quantity. Here, we consider orders ranging from 1 to 100 pieces to be small batch orders, and orders exceeding a few standards to be large batch orders. Therefore, orders ranging from 100 pieces to a few standards are medium batch orders.
2. Equipment
Because different types of picking and placing requirements are more suitable for orders of different qualities.
For example, Fuji NXT equipment is very suitable for mass production because if several devices are working simultaneously, the gap will be very large. The Yamaha YS series is very suitable for small batch production because they are more flexible for different types of components and easier to load or unload FPC components.
3. Engineering and Production Teams
If the company focuses on small batch FPC assembly, then all engineering and production teams need to be flexible and move quickly. But if the company focuses on mass production, accuracy and "sticking to the plan" are even more important.
