UPS systems can be divided into three categories: standby, online interactive, and dual conversion. Each system has different characteristics that can meet different power protection requirements.
This is the simplest form of UPS. The backup UPS mainly uses its circuit board to monitor the input power supply. When it detects a power failure, it will quickly switch to battery power. It is suitable for less important applications.
The system adopts more advanced circuit boards, allowing UPS to monitor whether the input power supply is cut off. At the same time, it can also correct slight voltage fluctuations without switching to the battery, thereby avoiding battery wear and tear. It is very suitable for environments where voltage dips and surges are quite rampant.
Dual conversion UPS allows input AC power to be converted to DC power and then back to AC power, providing maximum power protection. It also controls the constant power regulation required by sensitive and critical equipment that requires stable power supply through circuit boards.
