The mass PCB assembly process is the same as the standard PCB assembly process. But due to the high quality, we need to ensure that all materials are used correctly and closely monitor each step. In addition, all testing and inspections should be 100% completed before delivering the product to the customer. The following is a brief introduction to the overall process of large-scale PCB assembly.

This is the initial stage of large-scale PCB assembly. After receiving the incoming materials, the PCB assembly manufacturer will verify whether the electronic components comply with the BOM list and have good quality. The PCB board will undergo thorough inspection and electrical testing to ensure high quality.

After the components are ready, surface mount assembly will be carried out, and the electronic components will be placed on the bare board. Afterwards, the components will be soldered to the surface of the PCB through reflow soldering.

After SMT assembly is completed, we will begin THT assembly. Firstly, insert the through-hole component into the PTH hole, and then use wave soldering to tightly solder the component onto the circuit board.

After all steps are completed, quality control is required to test whether the printed circuit board can be delivered to the customer. Common tests and inspections include AOI inspection, X-ray inspection, visual inspection, online testing, and functional testing.
