The industrial PCB manufacturing process strictly follows certain regulations to ensure the reliability of each PCB for delivery and operation in industrial equipment. Perform the following process when building industrial PCBs.
The design of each type of industrial PCB is created using specific software based on its operating mode and requirements. This design includes all details of component placement and the layout of conductive parts. During the research and development process of PCB, prototypes are made to test the design before delivering it for full production.
The completed design is transferred through photolithography process. The simple method of this process is to apply photosensitive material onto the substrate material and then expose it to ultraviolet light. In this way, we have obtained the required PCB layout.
The exposed copper of the PCB is removed, leaving only the required conductive path. This is prepared with the help of etching process, which involves the use of chemicals for etching
Drilling is a precise operation performed for installing components, which is accomplished by creating through holes on the PCB board.
To create conductive paths for drilling holes and surface pads, a thin layer of copper is plated on the PCB. This method is called electroplating.
In order to protect the conductive path and avoid solder bridges during assembly, we applied a solder mask layer to it.
This is one of the final steps in industrial PCB manufacturing, aimed at avoiding any short circuits, open circuits, misalignment, and defects before shipment. Using different testing methods such as X-ray inspection, electrical testing, and AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) to ensure that the PCB meets requirements and standards.
